The neighboroughing Redesdale Riding Centre is just a short walk from Soppitt Farm Holiday Cottages. They have a range of horses and rides to suit a range of riding abilities from complete beginners to advanced riders. The horses range from 11HH to 18HH to suit all ages, shapes and sizes of people. From the centre you can go trekking into the Northumberland National Park, onto the military ranges or into Harwood Forest.
