A horse-shoe mews of four cottages encompassing a small courtyard was created by the conversion of 18th century byers. Situated on Soppit Farm, in the Redesdale Valley, two miles from Elsdon village in the heart of rural Northumberland they provide a pleasant and relaxing base for roaming and for an impressive range of activities across Northumberland and the borders. One, two and three bedroom cottages are available. Each cottage is equipped with modern comforts including gas central heating and TV. The Soppitt no longer operates as a commercial farm and provides a quiet location for a relaxing holiday. Several picnic tables spaced around the site provide pleasant places to enjoy an outdoor meal.

The cottages are situated in tranquil surroundings 200 yards from the main road (B6341) via a private driveway. From there you can relax in the grounds of Soppit farm, roam the Northumberland hills by public footpath, experience horse riding
